Canadian Tire's way of making your dollar go further is to double the value of Canadian Tire and Mark's Work Wearhouse store purchases on the card when calculating your gas discount.

For example, a $200 Canadian Tire store purchase counts as $400 towards your gas discount.

With Credit Protector, your minimum monthly payments, up to a maximum of $500 per month, can be covered should you involuntarily lose your job† or become disabled. Plus, it can pay your outstanding balance in the event of your death or the death of your spouse, to a maximum of $10,000.

All this coverage at a cost of only $1.10 per $100 (plus applicable taxes) of your current month's statement balance.

Product Protector®

Product Protector can automatically double your Canadian Tire or manufacturers' warranties on eligible purchases for up to two additional years.‡ Plus, eligible purchases can also be protected from accidental loss, damage, or theft for up to 90 days from the date of purchase‡.

You can safeguard your purchases at a cost of only $3.95 per month (plus applicable taxes) in any month you have an outstanding balance of $5.00 or more. If your balance is less than $5.00, you pay nothing but your coverage remains in full force.

Discount not available in Canadian Tire Gas Bars in Nova Scotia. Based on the level of net new purchases (purchases less credits) that are posted to your Gas Advantage MasterCard account in any monthly billing period, you will be entitled to a discount on each litre of gasoline or diesel fuel that is purchased for a motor vehicle at participating Canadian Tire Gas Bars during the following monthly billing period and that is charged to your Gas Advantage MasterCard.

The discount that you receive in a billing period will be reduced to 2¢ per litre after you have made purchases of more than $700 for gasoline, diesel fuel or any other sundry items at Canadian Tire Gas Bars during that billing period using your Gas Advantage MasterCard.

All purchases charged anywhere to your Gas Advantage MasterCard will qualify, except: interest charges, balance transfers, cash advances, Gas Advantage MasterCard fees, insurance and membership services offered by Canadian Tire Financial Services Limited or any gambling transactions (including the purchase of lottery tickets and all transactions at a casino) the transfer of money or the payment of taxes. The Gas Advantage MasterCard may not be used by you in connection with any commercial transportation business or any business that operates a fleet of motor vehicles. If used for this purpose, we may revoke your Gas Advantage MasterCard immediately. The Gas Advantage MasterCard gas discount program is subject to cancellation on 60 days notice. As the original posted price per litre of gasoline is a tax included amount, the stated per litre discount is also a tax included amount.

 
1. Eligible purchases at Canadian Tire stores, Canadian Tire catalogue, Canadian Tire online and Mark’s Work Wearhouse/L’Equipeur stores will be doubled for the purposes of calculating your discount per litre. For example, if your purchases at these retailers in any billing period totaled $450, it is the same as if you spent $900.
